The magazine committee holds the key to the creative vibe of the college. The college magazine is published annually. It keeps record of all theachievements throughout the year.
The faculty representatives constitute the Magazine Committee. The committeemeets periodically to discuss and select the articles for publication. Students, faculty and staff members contribute to the magazine. Students are invited to submit the articles in the form of
creative writings, poems, drawings, photography. The articles can be in English, Bengali and Hindi. All the articles are scrutinized by the respective members of the committee.
Objective:
To Provide a platform for the students to express themselves through various forms of writing like literary/creative writing, poems, drawings/sketches, comments on current topics.
To encourage freedom of expression.
To provide a medium for exchange of thoughts and information.
To make students aware of the intemal and external atmosphere of the college.
To make stakeholders and students understand the overall infrastructure, administration, curicular, co-curricular and future perspective of the college.
To promote a platform for the students to express their Creativity.
To Publish magazine on an annual basis.
To organise regular meetings (beyond class hours) to deliberate and decide on aforementioned issues.
