Teacher's Council
The Teachers' Council of Vidyasagar Metropolitan College serves as a vital statutory body, adhering to the provisions outlined by University of Calcutta. Comprising all full-time faculty members, including librarians, the Council plays a crucial role in assisting the Principal and upholding the welfare of the institution.
Composition of the Council:
- Chairperson: Principal of the College
- Secretary: One teacher elected or selected by the members
- Members: All faculty members of the college, including librarians
Objectives:
The Teachers' Council aims to:

Assist the Principal in governing and ensuring the smooth functioning of the college, prioritizing the welfare of the institution

Modus Operandi:
Members of the Teachers' Council actively participate in various academic and administrative committees, utilizing their expertise and experience to fulfill the Council's objectives. Through these committees and subcommittees, they work diligently to carry out their official duties and responsibilities.
