The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) at Vidyasagar Metropolitan College is dedicated to addressing and resolving complaints lodged by students. Students can submit their grievances regarding both academic and non-academic matters within the campus through an online platform or a grievance/suggestion box. The institution is committed to resolving student grievances within a stipulated time frame.

Objectives:
The GRC aims to promptly settle grievances of students and other stakeholders, thereby strengthening their bond with the institution. The goal is to provide satisfactory facilities that maintain a conducive environment for academic teaching and learning.

Composition of the Grievance Redressal Committee (As per UGC Regulations, 2018):
Mechanism of the GRC:
  • The GRC considers only individual grievances of students and staff.
  • It does not address grievances of a general or collective nature.
  • Upon receiving a complaint, the committee will promptly assess its merit for further discussion or investigation.
  • The GRC may mediate between the complainant and the defendant if necessary.
  • Grievances will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
