Minimum eligibility criteria for application to different 4-year UG courses under Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF) during the academic year 2025-26; and criteria for calculating index for merit list

Geography	If Geography was a combination subject in the previous exam: 50% in aggregate AND 45% in Geography; OR 55% in Geography AND pass in aggregate. If Geography was NOT a combination subject in the previous exam: 50% in aggregate AND 45% Mathematics OR 55% in the Mathematics AND pass in aggregate.	For Candidates with Geography: Best of four in HS / equivalent + % marks in Geography. For Candidates without Geography :Best of four in HS / equivalent + % marks in Mathematics
Mathematics	50% in aggregate AND 45% in Mathematics AND pass marks in Physics and Chemistry / Statistics OR 55% in Mathematics AND pass in aggregate AND pass marks in Physics and Chemistry / Statistics.	Best of four in HS / equivalent + (2 x % marks in Mathematics)

Commerce	50% in aggregate AND 45% in the concerned subject ## OR 55% in the concerned subject ## pass in aggregate. ## For Commerce concerned subject are: Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organisation, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office and Secretarial Practice, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accountancy and Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management, Commercial Law and Preliminaries of Auditing, Costing and Taxation.	Best of four in HS/equivalent + % marks in best of Mathematics / Statistics / Economics

Minimum eligibility criteria for filling up admission form for SC/ST category applicants in 4-year UG courses.

40% marks in aggregate OR40% marks in the concerned subject.

NOTE: SC/ST candidates from West Bengal only are eligible for seats under this criterion.

Please note that an applicant opting for any subject in the UG level must pass in that subject in the 10+2 level, if he / she had studied that subject in that level.
